⚠️ Please Read Carefully. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between Singhans Private Limited and the Participant/Parent/Guardian. By ticking 'I Accept the Terms and Conditions' during registration, you irrevocably agree to all terms herein. If you do not agree, do not proceed with registration.
In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:
(a) 'Olympiad' / 'SIO' — the Superhero International Olympiad conducted by Singhans Private Limited.
(b) 'Participant' — the student (Class 1–12) registered for the Olympiad.
(c) 'Registrant' — the Parent/Guardian completing registration on behalf of the Participant.
(d) 'Eliminator Round Fee' — ₹799 + Applicable Charges (Dual Olympiad) or ₹699 + Applicable Charges (Individual). All fees are strictly non-refundable.
(e) 'Eliminator Round' — the first preliminary round, conducted online, tentatively in the first or second week of July.
(f) 'Qualifier Round' — the second advanced round, open exclusively to Participants who cleared the Eliminator cut-off, subject to a separate Qualifier Round Fee.
(f1) 'Qualifier Round Fee' — ₹599 + Applicable Charges. Non-refundable under any circumstances.
(f2) 'Grand Finale' — the prize distribution and recognition event. May be subject to a participation/event fee at the Company's sole discretion.
(g) 'Scholarship' — an educational benefit up to ₹2,00,00,000 offered under programs by Singhans Private Limited and its associated entities.
(h) 'Prize' — any cash reward up to ₹10,00,000 or other benefit awarded at the Company's sole discretion.
(i) 'Cricketer / Celebrity Meet' — an opportunity to attend an event in the presence of a mascot Cricketer/Celebrity, subject to availability and Company's discretion.
(j) 'Platform' — the online examination and registration portal operated by or on behalf of the Company.
(k) 'Company' — Singhans Private Limited and all its subsidiaries, associates, group companies, and affiliates.
(l) 'Intellectual Property' — all trademarks, logos, names, copyrights, designs, and proprietary material owned by Singhans Private Limited.
(m) 'Data' — all personal information provided during registration and data generated through Platform use.
(n) 'Force Majeure Event' — any event beyond the Company's reasonable control.
(o) 'Jurisdiction' — courts and tribunals of Amritsar, Punjab, India.
Part II — Eligibility and Registration
CLAUSE 2
Eligibility Criteria
Open to students enrolled in Classes 1–12 in any recognized school in India or abroad. The Company reserves the sole right to determine eligibility and may disqualify any Participant at any stage without assigning reasons.
CLAUSE 3
Registration Process
Registration must be completed through the Company's official online portal. The Registrant warrants all information is true, accurate, complete, and current. The Company bears no liability for errors or misrepresentations during registration.
Registration is complete only upon full payment and system generation of a confirmation number.
The Company may accept or reject any registration at its sole discretion without assigning reasons.
A single registration is valid for one specific Participant for one specific Olympiad/subject. Registrations are non-transferable.
The Company is not responsible for incomplete registrations due to network failures, payment gateway errors, or technical outages at the Registrant's end.
CLAUSE 4
Registration Fee — Strict Non-Refundability
The Eliminator Round Fee is ₹799 + Applicable Charges (Dual Olympiad) or ₹699 + Applicable Charges (Individual Olympiad). All fees are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-adjustable under all circumstances, including:
Withdrawal after registration for any reason.
Failure to appear on the scheduled date and time.
Technical difficulties, internet failure, power outage, or device malfunction at the Participant's end.
Change of mind, health issues, school examinations, or any personal reasons.
Disqualification of the Participant at any stage.
Any Force Majeure Event or schedule change by the Company.
No claims for refund, credit, or substitution shall be entertained. Payment is an irrevocable transaction.
CLAUSE 5
Accuracy of Registration Information
The Registrant is solely responsible for accurate details including name, class, school, contact, and subject selection. The Company is not liable for issues arising from incorrect information. Correction requests post-registration are subject to the Company's sole discretion.
Part III — Olympiad Structure and Examination Conduct
CLAUSE 6
Two-Round Olympiad Structure
By registering, the Registrant expressly acknowledges and irrevocably accepts this structure:
Round 1 — Eliminator Round: All registered Participants appear online, tentatively in the first or second week of July. Results declared by end of July or first week of August.
Round 2 — Qualifier Round: Only Participants who achieve the Company-determined cut-off in the Dual Olympiad are eligible. THE QUALIFIER ROUND IS NOT FREE. A separate fee of ₹599 + Applicable Charges applies. Non-payment by the deadline results in forfeiture, with no refund.
Grand Finale: Only Selected Rank Holders from the Qualifier Round are invited. The Company may charge a participation/event fee. Scholarships, prizes, and benefits are exclusively for Qualifier Round Rank Holders.
THE REGISTRANT CONFIRMS FULL AWARENESS THAT FEES APPLY AT MULTIPLE STAGES AND VOLUNTARILY ACCEPTS THIS BY TICKING THE ACCEPTANCE CHECKBOX.
CLAUSE 7
Eliminator Round — Schedule and Conduct
The Eliminator Round is tentatively scheduled in the first or second week of July, conducted online. The Company reserves the absolute right to change, postpone, reschedule, cancel, or modify the examination date, time, or format without prior notice and without obligation to compensate or refund.
Participants have no right to demand a change of date, time, or slot.
If rescheduled, Participants will be notified through registered contact details; non-delivery beyond the Company's control creates no liability.
Missing the Eliminator Round for any reason does not entitle the Registrant to a refund or re-examination.
CLAUSE 8
Qualifier Round — Schedule, Fee, and Conduct
Conducted online at a date and format determined entirely by the Company. All provisions regarding technical responsibility, integrity, and conduct applicable to the Eliminator Round apply equally here.
The Qualifier Round Fee must be paid within the Company-specified deadline; non-payment results in automatic disqualification.
The Qualifier Round Fee is strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-adjustable.
The Company may change the format, date, and fee without prior notice.
Participants who qualify the Eliminator but choose not to pay have no claim against the Company.
CLAUSE 9
Examination Format
The Olympiad is conducted online through the designated Platform. Format, duration, question types, marking scheme, and negative marking (if any) are as published on the Platform and may be changed without prior notice.
CLAUSE 10
Technical Requirements and Responsibility
The Participant/Registrant is solely and exclusively responsible for adequate technical infrastructure, including:
A functioning device (computer/laptop as specified).
Stable, uninterrupted internet connection throughout the examination.
Functional camera and microphone if required for proctoring.
Adequate power supply/battery backup.
Updated browser or application as required by the Platform.
A quiet, suitable examination environment free from distractions.
The Company bears absolutely no responsibility for technical failure at the Participant's end. No re-examination, additional time, or refund shall be provided for any technical issue at the Participant's end.
CLAUSE 11
Examination Integrity and Anti-Cheating Policy
Any cheating, impersonation, or malpractice results in immediate disqualification. The Company's determination of malpractice is final. AI-based monitoring and proctoring tools may be used.
(a) No external aids, books, notes, or unauthorized devices are permitted.
(b) The Participant must not receive assistance from any person during the examination.
(c) Impersonation is prohibited and may attract legal action.
(d) The Company may invalidate results and pursue legal action in cases of proven fraud.
CLAUSE 12
Proctoring and Monitoring
By registering, the Participant and Registrant expressly consent to online proctoring, webcam monitoring, screen recording, and any other surveillance measures during the examination. Such data may be stored and used for examination integrity purposes.
CLAUSE 13
Code of Conduct
All Participants must maintain decorum and comply with all examination instructions. The Company may terminate a session and disqualify a Participant for conduct deemed inappropriate at the Company's sole discretion.
Part IV — Results, Rankings, and Progression
CLAUSE 14
Result Declaration — Eliminator Round
Results shall be declared at a time determined by the Company, tentatively by end of July or first week of August. The timeline may change without notice. Results are published on the Company's official website and/or communicated to registered contacts. The Company is not responsible for non-receipt due to incorrect contact details or spam filters.
CLAUSE 15
Evaluation and Percentile-Based Ranking
Rankings are determined by a percentile-based system, marks obtained, or any other method the Company deems appropriate. The Company's decision on evaluation methodology is final and binding.
CLAUSE 16
Progression to Qualifier Round — Fee Mandatory
Only participants achieving the Company-determined Dual Olympiad cut-off in the Eliminator Round are eligible for the Qualifier. HOWEVER, SUCH ELIGIBILITY IS CONDITIONAL AND DOES NOT BECOME EFFECTIVE UNTIL THE QUALIFIER ROUND FEE IS PAID by the Company-specified deadline.
(a) Cut-off score, number of qualifiers, and all related decisions are at the Company's sole discretion.
(b) Qualifier Round Fee is ₹599 + Applicable Charges; may vary by subject or category.
(c) Non-payment by the deadline results in automatic forfeiture with no right to refund or re-admission.
(d) Qualification does not guarantee any award, scholarship, prize, or certificate.
(e) The Company may modify structure, format, venue, schedule, and fee at any time.
CLAUSE 17
Result Declaration — Qualifier Round
Results shall be declared at a time of the Company's choosing. Rank Holders are the only category eligible for the Grand Finale, scholarships, prizes, medals, and other announced benefits. The number of ranks and associated benefits are determined entirely by the Company. The Grand Finale may be subject to a separate participation/event fee.
CLAUSE 18
Finality of Results
All results, rankings, scores, cut-offs, and decisions announced by the Company at any round are final, conclusive, and binding. No appeals, representations, objections, or requests for re-evaluation shall be entertained after results are declared, except at the Company's sole discretion.
CLAUSE 19
Medals and Certificates
Participation certificates may be awarded to all eligible Participants who appear in the exam. Merit-based medals and awards are exclusively for Qualifier Round Rank Holders. The categories, thresholds, and form of recognition are decided entirely by the Company, which reserves the right to modify, substitute, or withdraw any award without notice.
Part V — Scholarship and Prizes
CLAUSE 20
Eligibility for Benefits — Qualifier Round Rank Holders Only
Scholarships, cash prizes, special awards, Cricketer/Celebrity meet opportunities, and all other benefits are available EXCLUSIVELY to Rank Holders from the Qualifier Round. Participants who only appear in the Eliminator Round, or who qualify but do not participate in the Qualifier Round, are not entitled to any such benefits.
CLAUSE 21
Scholarship — Nature and Scope
'Scholarship' refers exclusively to an educational benefit or credit applicable towards programs offered by Singhans Private Limited and its associated entities (including Superhero Classes and Superhero Future Schools).
(a) The Scholarship is not a cash award or monetary payment redeemable outside the Company's ecosystem.
(b) The total value of up to ₹2,00,00,000 is an aggregate indicative figure across all awardees and is not guaranteed to any single Participant.
(c) The specific scholarship amount for any individual is determined at the Company's sole discretion.
(d) Scholarship benefits are subject to the terms of respective programs and may carry additional conditions, validity periods, and restrictions.
(e) The Company may modify, suspend, or discontinue the scholarship program at any time without notice.
CLAUSE 22
Cash Prizes — Discretionary and Variable
The Company may award cash prizes between ₹1 and ₹10,00,000 at its sole and absolute discretion. 'Up to ₹10,00,000' is the maximum possible prize and does not guarantee any specific amount.
(a) Number of prizes, amounts, categories, and distribution methodology are determined entirely by the Company.
(b) The Company's decision on prize allocation is final and no challenge shall be entertained.
(c) All tax liability on prizes is borne exclusively by the Participant/Registrant.
(d) The Company may award prizes as vouchers, credits, or in kind rather than cash.
CLAUSE 23
Cricketer / Celebrity Meet Opportunity
Certain Rank Holders may be given the opportunity to 'meet a Cricketer/Celebrity' at the Grand Finale. This is subject to availability and operational feasibility. 'Cricketer/Celebrity' means any mascot, costumed character, or personality associated with the Superhero Olympiad brand as determined by the Company. No specific Cricketer/Celebrity is guaranteed; the Company may substitute without notice.
Part VI — Event Logistics
CLAUSE 24
Grand Finale — Venue, Fee, and Logistics
The Grand Finale is conducted at a venue, date, and time determined entirely by the Company. The Company may change or relocate the venue at any time.
(a) Participation may be subject to a fee, communicated at the appropriate time. Such fee is non-refundable.
(b) Travel, accommodation, and all personal expenses are borne exclusively by the Participant/Registrant.
(c) The Company is not liable for inconvenience due to venue, date, or format changes.
(d) Failure to attend results in forfeiture of prizes, awards, or benefits with no right to compensation.
CLAUSE 25
Event Cancellation, Postponement, or Modification
The Company reserves the absolute right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, or modify any round or event at any time and for any reason. No refund or compensation whatsoever shall be payable in such cases.
CLAUSE 26
Photography and Videography
By registering, the Participant and Registrant grant the Company an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use photographs, videos, and recordings of the Participant at any associated event for promotional, commercial, or any other purpose, without further consent or compensation.
Part VII — Data Privacy and Intellectual Property
CLAUSE 27
Collection and Use of Personal Data
By registering, the Registrant expressly consents to the Company collecting, storing, processing, and using all personal data including name, age, class, school, address, photograph, contact details, and examination performance data.
(a) Data may be used for: conducting the Olympiad, communicating with Participants, marketing, improving services, and sharing with group companies and associates.
(b) Data may be shared with subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, educational institutions, and third-party service providers.
(c) The Participant's name, photograph, school, performance, and testimonials may be used in promotional materials without further consent or compensation.
(d) Data may be retained for as long as the Company deems necessary.
(e) The Registrant confirms they have obtained all necessary consents for providing the minor Participant's data under applicable law.
CLAUSE 28
Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property associated with SIO — including the name 'Superhero Olympiad', logos, mascots, question papers, certificates, website, and all related materials — is the exclusive property of Singhans Private Limited.
(a) No Participant or third party may reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Company intellectual property without prior written consent.
(b) Question papers and examination content are confidential. Reproducing or sharing examination questions in any medium is strictly prohibited and may attract legal action and disqualification.
Part VIII — Liability, Indemnity, and Warranties
CLAUSE 29
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Singhans Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or relating to:
(a) Participation or inability to participate in the Olympiad.
(b) Technical failures or interruptions in the examination platform.
(c) Loss of data or connectivity during the examination.
(d) Any decision regarding results, rankings, prizes, or scholarships.
(e) Any event cancellation, postponement, or modification.
(f) Any reliance on information published by the Company.
CLAUSE 30
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Olympiad and all associated services are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. The Company makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted or error-free Platform operation, accuracy of results, or availability of prizes or scholarships.
CLAUSE 31
Indemnification
The Registrant and Participant agree to indemnify and hold harmless Singhans Private Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of: (a) violation of these Terms; (b) any fraudulent or misleading information provided during registration; (c) any act or omission of the Participant during the examination.
CLAUSE 32
No Guarantee of Any Outcome
Registration and participation does not guarantee qualification to any subsequent round, or any prize, scholarship, medal, or certificate. All outcomes are subject to the Participant's performance and the Company's evaluation and decision.
Part IX — Company's Absolute Discretion
CLAUSES 33–38
Company's Rights and Decisions
The Company reserves the absolute right to:
Finality of Decision (33): The Company's decision is final and binding on all matters — eligibility, registration, examination, evaluation, results, rankings, prizes, scholarships, and interpretation of these Terms. No appeal or legal challenge is maintainable except as expressly permitted by law.
Right to Modify Terms (34): The Company may add, modify, amend, or delete any provision of these Terms at any time without notice. Continued participation after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Right to Disqualify (35): The Company may disqualify any Participant at any stage without notice for any reason, including breach of Terms, malpractice, false information, or inappropriate conduct. Disqualification does not entitle the Registrant to a refund.
Right to Modify the Olympiad (36): The Company may modify the structure, format, subjects, syllabus, scoring, number of rounds, prizes, venue, and schedule at any time without notice or obligation to compensate.
No Obligation to Conduct (37): Registration and payment does not obligate the Company to conduct the Olympiad on any specific date or at all. If the Olympiad is cancelled in its entirety, the Company's liability is limited to refunding the Registration Fee only; no other claim lies against the Company.
Right to Reject or Cancel Registration (38): The Company may cancel any registration at any time for administrative errors, duplicate registrations, or suspected fraud. The Registration Fee may or may not be refunded at the Company's sole discretion.
Part X — Examination-Specific Provisions
CLAUSES 39–45
Examination Rules and Provisions
Syllabus and Difficulty (39): Syllabus and difficulty are published on the Company's official website and may be updated. The Company does not guarantee alignment with any specific school board curriculum.
Tie-Breaking (40): In the event of a tie, the Company may use any tie-breaking methodology including time taken, performance on specific sections, or any other criterion. The Company's decision is final.
Answer Key Challenges (41): The Company may or may not publish a provisional answer key. Challenges, if permitted, must be submitted in the manner and timeline specified by the Company. The Company's final decision on any challenge is binding.
Re-Examination (42): There is no provision for re-examination under any circumstances including technical failures, illness, or natural disasters. Participants who miss the examination forfeit their fee without recourse.
Examination Language (43): The Olympiad is conducted in English as specified by the Company. Availability in any regional language is not guaranteed.
Login Credentials (44): Login credentials are strictly personal and non-transferable. The Registrant is solely responsible for credential security. The Company is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from the Registrant's failure to maintain security.
Examination Window (45): Participants must log in and commence within the specified examination window. Late logins do not result in additional time. Failure to log in during the window is treated as absent.
Part XI — Scholarship and Prize — Additional Terms
CLAUSES 46–49
Scholarship and Prize Rules
Scholarship Redemption (46): Scholarship benefits are redeemable only through programs offered by Singhans Private Limited and its associated entities. Specific terms, validity, and conditions are communicated at the time of award and are binding. The Company may substitute any program or course offering.
Prize Distribution (47): Prizes shall be distributed at an event organized by the Company at a venue and date of the Company's choosing. Failure to collect a prize at the designated event results in forfeiture with no obligation to reschedule.
Prize Substitution (48): The Company may substitute any prize with an item of equivalent or different value at its sole discretion. No cash equivalent of non-cash prizes is payable.
Tax on Prizes (49): All applicable taxes, including TDS under Section 194B of the Income Tax Act, 1961, are borne by the Participant. The Company may deduct taxes at source before disbursing any prize.
Part XII — Parental and Guardian Consent
CLAUSE 50
Parental / Guardian Consent
Since most Participants are minors, registration must be completed by a Parent or Legal Guardian. By completing registration, the Parent/Guardian confirms they have legal authority to register the Participant and consent on their behalf for all purposes under these Terms.
CLAUSE 51
Parental Responsibility
The Parent/Guardian is responsible for ensuring the Participant's compliance with these Terms and is liable for any breach of these Terms by the Participant.
CLAUSE 52
Supervision During Examination
The Registrant is responsible for ensuring that the Participant appears for the examination in a supervised, appropriate environment. The Company is not responsible for any harm, injury, or incident occurring during the examination.
Part XIII — Communications and Notifications
CLAUSES 53–55
Communication and Notifications
Official Channel (53): All official communications are sent to the email address and/or mobile number provided at registration. The Registrant is responsible for ensuring contact details are accurate. The Company is not liable for non-receipt due to incorrect details or spam filters.
Consent to Receive Communications (54): By registering, the Registrant expressly consents to receive promotional, informational, and transactional communications from Singhans Private Limited and its group companies via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or any other channel. This consent can be withdrawn only via the Company's opt-out mechanism.
Updates and Notices (55): Important notices regarding schedule, venue, or format changes are communicated through registered contact details and/or the Company's official website. It is the Registrant's responsibility to check for updates regularly.
Part XIV — Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
CLAUSES 56–59
Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law (56): These Terms and all matters related to the Olympiad are governed exclusively by the laws of India.
Exclusive Jurisdiction (57): All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts and tribunals at Amritsar, Punjab, India. By registering, all Participants and Registrants irrevocably submit to this jurisdiction and waive any objection to laying of venue there.
Dispute Resolution Procedure (58): Before initiating legal proceedings, the aggrieved party must serve a written notice of dispute to the Company. Parties shall attempt amicable resolution within thirty (30) days. If unresolved, either party may approach the courts at Amritsar, Punjab.
No Class Action (59): All claims must be brought in the claimant's individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any representative proceeding.
Part XV — General Provisions
CLAUSES 60–69
General Provisions
Entire Agreement (60): These Terms, together with any additional policies published by the Company, constitute the entire agreement and supersede all prior understandings or agreements.
Severability (61): If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
Waiver (62): The Company's failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment (63): The Company may assign, transfer, or subcontract its rights and obligations to any third party without notice. The Registrant/Participant may not assign any rights or obligations.
Relationship of Parties (64): Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship.
Language (65): These Terms are in English. In case of conflict between English and any translation, the English version prevails.
Force Majeure (66): The Company is not liable for any failure or delay due to any Force Majeure Event including acts of God, war, epidemics, pandemics, government orders, natural disasters, internet outages, or power failures. The Company may suspend, modify, or cancel the Olympiad in such events without liability.
Third Party Links (67): The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. The Company is not responsible for any third-party content, privacy practices, or operations.
No Endorsement (68): Participation or receipt of any award does not constitute the Company's endorsement of any school, coaching centre, or educational product.
Changes to Branding (69): The Company may change the name, branding, logo, or identity of the Olympiad at any time without affecting the rights and obligations of registered Participants.
Acknowledgment and Declaration by Registrant
By ticking the Acceptance Checkbox and proceeding with payment, I/We hereby declare and confirm that:
I/We have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
I/We fully understand the TWO-ROUND structure and that fees apply at both the Eliminator and Qualifier Rounds.
I/We agree that all fees paid at every stage are strictly non-refundable under any and all circumstances.
I/We consent to the collection, use, sharing, and commercial use of the Participant's personal data by Singhans Private Limited.
I/We acknowledge that all decisions of Singhans Private Limited are final and binding and cannot be challenged.
I/We submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Amritsar, Punjab, India for all disputes.
I/We are the Parent/Guardian of the Participant and have the authority to register and accept these Terms.
I/We understand that scholarships, prizes, and all major benefits are awarded exclusively to Rank Holders from the Qualifier Round.
By proceeding to register, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept all Terms and Conditions in this document.
